anyways.....lots of stuffs has been happening......lots of roller coaster culture shock induced emotionally unsettling moments in my life now......

but since i last was able to write here!!!!! i've had some nice before and after moments! as you may or may not know, i moved to ecuador recently, but it's been about 18-20 yrs. since i have returned! (those summers in high school that i spent here.....) subsequently, had lost touch with all of the places where i had spent time.....and the people and the host families that were so nice to me....

anyway, so here are a few pics......with me at latitude zero circa 1987 and now, 2007.......then also some pics of leo and danilo, two of my host brothers from Junin, Manabi, Ecuador......last time i saw them in 1990??? (this pic is from 87 i think).......when they were 7 and 8 yrs old.......and then the next pic is from 2007 a few weeks ago......they are grown up now with wives and kids (and a few years in the states working in NC......so they speak perfect english now)......

so.....looking forward to finding some more free time to go back to visit them....and also the other villages i lived in!
